Separate divisions for boys and girls entering:
3rd-4th grade (9 holes) Adult caddy encouraged
5th-6th grade (9 holes) Adult caddy encouraged
7th-8th grade (18 holes)
High school 9th-12th grade (18 holes)

Cost: $25 3rd-6th Grade (9-holes) per tournament
Cost: $35 7th-12th Grade (18-holes) per tournament

Registration will close Monday, June 3rd at 10:00 p.m. Tee times will be posted by Tuesday morning June 4th on our webpage, on our Facebook page Metro East Golf Academy and at Yorktown Golf Course.

Parent/Child Scramble
Friday, June 14 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. Shotgun

The parent/child scramble tournament is designed for parents to enjoy the golf experience with their child. This will be an 18 hole tournament in which the child needs to be entering their senior year of high school or younger.

Tees played:
Boys entering 6th grade or younger will play the red tees
Boys entering 7-12th grade will play the blue tees
All girls/moms will play the red tees
All dads will play the blue tees

Cost:
18 holes – $55 – Walking
18 holes – $70 – Riding

Registration will close when 36 2-person teams register.

Junior 2-Person Scramble Friday, July 12

This junior 2-person scramble tournament is designed for kids to enjoy playing golf on a team. The tournament will be a 9-hole event for kids 3-6 grade and an 18 hole event for kids 7-12 grade. Grade level will be determined by the oldest kid on the team.

Tees played:
Boys entering 6th grade or younger will play the red tees
Boys entering 7-12th grade will play the blue tees
Girls will play the red tees

Tee times:
9 holes will be a 9:00 shotgun
18 holes will be a 11:00 shotgun

Cost:
9 holes – $25/player $50/team
18 holes – $35/player $70/team

Each tournament day will include 9 or 18 holes at Yorktown Golf Course. Tournaments are flighted by player age.

Players are expected to have all equipment necessary to play a complete round of golf.

Frequently asked questions...

Our tournaments are broken up by age groups and golfers will be in the same group with players who shoot a similar score. Yorktown is a great place to get your child started.

Absolutely! We encourage you to watch and cheer on your child.

Golfers entering 3rd-6th grade are encouraged to have a parent caddy. Golfers entering 7th grade-12 grade cannot have a caddy.

In the event of a rain out, you can receive a full refund or play on the rescheduled date.
